Get to know Julie

I adore the color purple. You know what I mean: purple hair, purple shoes, and a purple purse.

I'm a coffee lover. I can't function without drinking coffee first thing in the morning. My favourite coffee is the iced caramel macchiato.

PS: If you arrive late for your appointment, bring a coffee with you, and I might forgive you.

I enjoy beaches and sunsets. Where do I live? I live in Hawaii, the best place in the world. I am grateful that I am able to work and live here.

 I adore cats and dogs. I have four cats at home and am looking for a dog to walk and play with. My favorite dog is a Shiba Inu. I plan to have one Shiba Inu one day. 

Redken is my favorite hair product line. I'm #redkenobsessed. Three hair products I cannot live without... Redken Hair Cleansing Cream Shampoo, Oil For All, and Texture Paste.

My favourite salon service is color. I enjoy doing a variety of colors in the salon. However, I am obsessed with open-air balayage painting with clay or lightener. I could hand paint all day, every day. That is my jam!

My favorite dish is poke with rice, also known as a "poke bowl." Poke is chunks of raw, marinated fish, typically Ahi or Yellowfin tuna. Credit the images to FOODLAND HAWAII. 

I adore my children. They are the power behind my drive. I want to be an excellent role model for them by working hard, achieving my goals, and being a part of their journey.

I enjoy reading and listening to audio books. I usually listen to self-help audiobooks while driving or doing laundry. I enjoy these topics, which range from business and career to money and investments. I get it. I am very practical.

90% of my clothes are black, with a small amount of white and grey. Why do all hairstylists wear black? We occasionally have chemical spills, such as hair color, lightener, and black hides, which stain easily.
